Thank you all for helping our 7 yo patient Valery Patashuri to get his medication. We really appreciate that despite the very challenging time, you continue supporting sick children.

Valery received treatment with Qarziba, the most up-to-date medication for the high-risk neuroblastoma. Recently, the doctors have tested their patient and discovered that the boy had responded well to the first two treatments. This is even more exciting given that there have been no positive developments in the boy's treatment for months.

Valera was first diagnosed with neuroblastoma when he was 3 years old. His treatment went successful back then. Yet after a couple of years in remission, his cancer had relapsed, and Valery is back in the hospital. He made friends with all doctors, nurses, and security guards. First he dreamed about dinosaurs, but then he has switched his attention to toy spiders and snakes and now he plays with his new favorites for hours. It is really amazing to see how Valery and other children, our little heroes, find strength and resilience to cope with illness, pain, and isolation in the hospital ward; they play, learn and explore the world despite all challenges. It is also very inspiring that it is in our power to give these children hope and a chance to be cured.

We are very grateful to all of you for your continuous and kind support. As we focus on our patients, our thoughts are also with each of you. Please, stay safe and healthy. We hope that the crisis will be over soon, and together we will be able get through all the challenges and thrive again.
